It's a real baby inside me, yes it IS!

Holy Smokes, that's a REAL person inside me!

Have reached 37 weeks pregnant with the idea that another person is joining our family. Have watched my belly (and my arse!) grow to massive sizes without truly comprehending there is a PERSON living inside me.

This little person looks like this now - that is a fully cooked baby in there. And that foot there is exactly where I get super soccer kicks.

Okay, okay, I know I'm getting to be a broken record here but this is seriously a miracle! Really!

You'd think I'm new at this with my level of awe and surprise but it gets me every time. I don't care what you believe in, it could be God or whatever, but you have to admit whoever thought up this incredible blueprint is pretty awesome.

I'm proud to actually make dinner. But guess what, I'm MAKING A BABY! From scratch! A real human being - that feels like a darn super power.

I'm in awe today....
